At Tamkeen Welfare Trust, we envisage a world where everyone is being cared for and live a good life free from extreme poverty. This vision is at the heart of everything we do and is reflected in our values of working together; empowerment; leadership; faith; accountability; respect and excellence. 

We strive to implement the best projects benefiting those most in need, providing long-term programs to solve some of the most pressing needs in the communities we serve. Alhamdulillah, by the grace of Allah, we have supported thousands of people living in poverty, and work with communities to strengthen and empower them and provide life-saving solutions.

We have been working inside communities facing huge challenges with regards to access to water, food supply, healthcare and education. We provide life-changing water solutions in less privileged areas; provided food in poverty-stricken areas; run orphan care programs and provided life-saving healthcare. Our goal is to serve as many people in need as we can and seek to expand our presence and strength globally.

We believe charity should be simple and effective. We work with dedicated volunteers across the nation and implement our own projects, so we keep our overhead costs low. Implementing directly means we have complete oversight of our work and transparency and accountability. Our 100% donation policy means every single penny we receive from our benevolent donors reaches those most in need.

At Tamkeen Welfare, we have reaffirmed our commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals, ensuring all our programs are focused on these goals. We are determined to uphold the aspiration of “leave no one behind” and thus work to ensure all groups of society and the most vulnerable, including children, women, the elderly and people with disabilities, are benefiting from our programs. This means our life-changing projects truly support those most in need.
